Signor Scotti ... complimenti!
Illegal waste
Abducted plant Riso Scotti of Energy.
had to produce clean energy, but not allowed to dispose of waste. The biomass power plant Riso Scotti Pavia Energy has been placed under seizure Wednesday morning.
Riso Scotti Energy, a company owned by Riso Scotti, was intended, in principle, disposal through a biomass power plant, rice husk, a by-product of industrial processing used as an excellent fuel. Then, thanks to an evolution of the legislation, the plant was authorized to dispose of non-hazardous waste as well: "The co-incineration plant - says Hugh Meredith, commander of the Lombardy Regional Forestry - on paper was a real highlight, as was used to dispose of a waste of production and, simultaneously, to create renewable energy for re-investment in the company. Unfortunately we have found that things were not so. "
According to surveys conducted by the Forestry Corps, the plant, together with the husk, it also burned various types of waste (including wood, plastics, packaging and waste water sewage sludge) with concentrations of pollutants (especially heavy metals) exceeding the limits permitted by law . A traffic 40,000 tons of municipal and industrial waste is not treated regularly, from waste disposal facilities in Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Puglia. All this was possible because of the false certificates issued by testing laboratories compliant chemicals for a turnover, which, according to initial estimates, is around 30 million € , thanks to government incentives that this kind of works receives: "The main illicit gain comes not only from waste disposal, the sale of renewable energy, for which government incentives are expected," confirms Paul Moizi, commander of the provincial Forestry Service of Pavia. The company would sell its energy (not really clean) at a high price because it encouraged, to the national grid: "Moreover - Moizi continues - the plant had been installed a second generator, which would have served officially in the event of failure of the first, but in reality also produced energy. The husk mixed with industrial waste, in addition, was also sold without authorization, for the production of animal bedding, especially pigs and poultry, and for the production of wood panels.
Dario Scotti, hot, has avoided any comment. The call surprised, concerned about the fate of its workers and believe - if the allegations are proven to also cover some of his colleagues - that he was stabbed in the back. At the point to say ready to form parte civile per difendere gli interessi di uno dei marchi più famosi del mercato alimentare nazionale ed estero.

With the exhibition of the dead in Perugia, you will return at the time municipal
The Fair of the Dead is held in the first week of November since the Middle Ages, initially took place in the center, currently is held in Piazzale Umbria Jazz, the area grounded. From 1 to 6 November 2010 will be held at Pian di Massiano the traditional Fair of the Dead.
The establishment of the "Fair of the Dead" coincides with the age of Perugia town, in medieval times. We have written evidence of the fair since 1260 and from this evidence that was already defined then as "customary." His name was "Fair All Saints', so named because it was located in the Fair calendar during this religious festival.
Fair Perugia was part of a full calendar of trade fairs and merchant then present in Umbria in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. It was notable relief of the Fair at the regional level, being placed in the Perugia road from Florence to Foligno and Ancona and in view of great commercial importance of the nearby Via Flaminia.
The fairs of the time possessed the main function of trade in agricultural products and livestock. No accident occurred in the summer and autumn, and the wide availability of agricultural produce harvested during the year to enable the population the local "supply" problems before winter.
All Saints Fair in Perugia, since sec. XIII, was frequented by Florentines, Siena, Cortona, Fabriano, in particular, was very fertile relationship with Tuscany along the Perugia-Florence, which has been known to send specific invitations formally sent to the municipality of Perugia other Tuscan cities.
During the period of the Fair All Saints' games were held in Perugia with a long tradition as the bull hunt, and the travel of the Palio race or quintana.
Only from '600 Fair All Saints will be called "the dead", while 800 will take the current name of "Exhibition of the dead." The significance of this choice seems to express the desire to make compatible the memory and the ritual reunion with the ancestors with the need to mitigate the feeling of sadness, however, in memory of the absence. The collective ritual of the festival includes even the custom of eating sweet called "stinchetti", "bones of the dead", "beans of the dead", as if in search of a "communion" and secular festive with the dead.
